Core Gameplay and Strategic Systems

The primary mechanic involves clearing puzzles by matching three or more identical tiles on a grid. Each successful match generates an attack from your fleet, with the direction of fire determined by the column where the match was made. To damage an enemy positioned on the right side of the screen, you must create matches specifically in the rightmost columns. Creating matches of four or more tiles produces enhanced ordnance, such as high-yield torpedoes or wide-beam cannons, which deal significantly increased damage to enemy hull points. The game integrates a persistent narrative where your command decisions influence the storyline, unlocking new chapters, characters, and fleet upgrades as you progress through distinct sectors of space.
