When you are near your home base, you can construct and upgrade essential buildings with a simple tap, provided you have scavenged enough critical resources from the dangerous world. Your authority also lets you recruit new heroes directly from the survivors at your base, each one a potential legend in the making. These heroes are the absolute backbone of your mission; they are the ones who will venture out on critical story missions and automated combat expeditions.

Combat is a strategic test of your preparation. The battle system is fully automated, putting the focus on your management skills. Victory is determined before the fight even begins: if the combined strength and level of your hero party surpasses that of the roaming enemy horde, you will claim the resources and progress.
