After War presents a core loop of automated combat and deep strategic management. You deploy a squad of three robotic units that autonomously engage hostile forces encountered on the map. Each victory yields in-game currency, crafting materials, and new mechanical parts. These resources are directly invested into upgrading your current units' core statistics or unlocking entirely new robotic classes to recruit. The game provides direct control over squad formation, allowing for real-time positional adjustments to optimize frontline defense and rear-line support during engagements. Tapping any unit portrait opens its detailed skill panel, where you can review abilities or toggle an auto-cast function, enabling the AI to activate powerful skills at optimal moments.
